Which modules should I choose?

The purpose is that all employers in Subsea shall adhere to the same platform though each target group designs a tailor made learning programme responding to their needs.

Target group 1: All employees involved in projects (Modules A and B)
Subsea recommends you to join the modules A and B. The main learning objective is to provide you with an introduction to projects as a business process in Subsea, and make you understand the project organisation as such.

Target group 2: Planners/BM/Cost Controllers (Modules A, B, C, D and E)
The main objective is to provide you with an introduction to projects as a business process in Subsea, and give you a hands-on knowledge on how to in practice, plan and implement a project reaching its goals. You will obtain insight into the various phases into which a project should be divided to enable goal- and deadline-oriented effective management aligned with best practice in Subsea. When completed A, B and C, you will be offered a multiple choice exam with 5 ECTS credits obtainable.

Target group 3: HSE managers/Procurement managers/Quality managers (Modules A, B and E)
The main learning objective is to provide you with an introduction to projects as a business process in Subsea, and make you understand the project organization as such. Additionally you will be able to use the contract as an effective management tool, and understand how change affects contracts.

Target group 4: PM/Work pack managers (Modules A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H)
If you have a key role in projects, it is critical for your career and for Subsea’s success that you master the content of these modules that are adjusted to your working day. When completed A, B and C, you will be offered a multiple choice exam with 5 ECTS credits obtainable. On completion of 4 more modules, you will be offered an exam to obtain 15 more credits. The last 10 credits are obtainable through the project assignment. This project assignment is considered as evidence that you have demonstrated a solid foundation of knowledge from which you can practice project management.

Target group 5: Line managers (Modules A, B and H)
The main objective is to provide you with an introduction to projects as a business process in Subsea. You will obtain insight into the various phases into which a project should be divided to enable goal- and deadline-oriented effective management aligned with best practice in Subsea.
